And in my true procrastinator's style... I am now blogging to avoid writing a paper I've had about 7 months to write... oh well!!
Here are a few of the things I've had so much fun being distracted with!!
One of my all-time favorite things in the world and about living in So Cal:
DISNEYLAND!!!

True Disneyland style to have photo-opps... I still haven't ridden this ride tho. The line was way too long... hopefully soon!
Then some good friends happened to come to So Cal and I got to see them at Disneyland... so great!!! Miss you guys!
Disneyland makes me truly feel like a little kid again... It's true what they say...
THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH!!

Kenny and I have just had tons of fun together the past few months! He hasn't been to Disneyland in like 12 years... so it was so great to take him back there!!
Hopefully he's a fan too now!!
We also spent a great day at Venice Beach and the Venice canals with some friends. That's right... the beach. On January 17th!! Look.. t-shirt, shorts, and flipflops! Gotta love So Cal weather!
Also a day trip to Solvang... we weren't huge fans. Maybe it is more exciting in the Summer and not January. Sorry I didn't love it Syd...
Kenny and I also recently created a 4-piece jazz band out of cardboard. A set of drums, microphone, upright bass, and a keyboard with working pedals. This was all for the most recent YSA activity I helped plan, a Mardi Gras-esque carnevale. I wish I had a good picture. I'll find one and post it. I'm so proud! Even though I had some serious cardboard cuts and couldn't feel some of my fingers for a few days.
